Volunteer

We will have 4 main teams: Fellowship, Innkeepers, Meals, and Housekeeping. 

The Fellowship Team will be responsible for evening fellowship. (7:00 PM - 8:30 PM)

The Innkeeper Team will stay overnight and help serve breakfast in the morning. Innkeepers may leave after the Family Promise van has picked up the guest families. (8:30 PM - 6:00 AM)

The Setup/Breakdown Team will move beds/furniture in the classrooms and make beds to prepare for the guests and to return facility to original state of order after guests depart. Assist families unload/load personal items upon their arrival and departure. They may also be called upon to assist with setting up dining tables before the families arrive and after they leave.

Breakdown Volunteer (Sunday 8:00 am)

The Housekeeping Team will be responsible for light housekeeping for the bathrooms and around the Barre Center. 8:30 am - 9:30 am M-F, 9:00 am Sat

The Meals Team will be responsible for providing meals: Breakfast and Dinner. Meals can be broken down into entrees, sides, drinks, and dessert and may be provided by two or more persons or a specific ministry / group.

- Breakfast Volunteer (6:00 AM - 7:30 AM)
- Evening Meal Volunteer (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
-Cooking all or part of the dinner or dessert and delivering to the Barre’ Center Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 3:00 pm, Sunday 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
*All food must be in disposable containers.
